Whitewater tubing is brand new to the Kootenay's but has been famous in other locales around the world for many years. This fun and boisterous trip down the mighty Skookumchuck Creek in eased water levels, will have you successfully navigating rapids likes Sidewinder, and Double Trouble with relative ease after an in-depth training and demonstration session in the starting pool above. Your guides will be instructing you on safe river navigation, appropriate rescue techniques, helping you feel confident
for the challenge ahead.
The beauty of this trip is its a personal challenge based tour, with every rapid having the ability to portage and walk around if you don't feel comfortable. This is a last resort as our guides are experts at teaching the ways of the river and most guests leave feeling empowered, and exhilarated from one of the best 2 hours you'll every spend in a tube on one of BC's best wilderness creeks.
*Whitewater Tubing is dependent on water levels and is typically offered July, August and September. Please feel free to contact us with questions regarding water levels.*
*Minimum 12 years old or 90lbs
*Swimming Ability an Asset but not required
*No previous experience required. All pre-trip training and river equipment
will be provided
